Mumbai, April 13: Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has increased prices of Compressed Natural Gas and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in Mumbai, officials informed on Wednesday. With the revision of the prices, CNG will now be available at Rs 72 per kg while PNG is at Rs 45.50 per SCM in and around the financial capital of the country. The revision is applicable from midnight of April 12, 2022.
This is the second hike by the company this month. Earlier, MGL had revised the price of CNG and PNG on April 6, 2022. At that time, the CNG and PNG prices were increased by Rs 7 per kg and Rs 5 per SCM in Mumbai. However, on March 31, 2022, the natural gas distribution company had announced a reduction in the prices of CNG by Rs 7 per kg and PNG by Rs 3.50 per SCM. UNI
