Two Laborers Die In Rice Mill Accident In Nayagarh

Bhubaneswar: Two workers were killed when a stack of rice-filled sacks collapsed on them at a rice mill in Odagaon, Nayagarh district, Odisha on Monday.

The victims, Rameshwar Dihudi of Tirisinga in Ganjam district and Pramod Maharana of Badamba, were checking stocks at the Maa Mangala Rice Mill warehouse when the accident occurred.

They were rescued and taken to the Odagaon Community Health Centre, where they were declared dead upon arrival.

Their bodies have been seized for post-mortem examination, and an investigation into the incident has been launched. Family members of the deceased have been informed.
