Bhubaneswar: Three senior IPS officers have been promoted to the rank of Director General (DG) of police in Odisha, a notification in this regard was issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance department today.
IPS officers Sudhanshu Sarangi, Arun Kumar Sarangi and Yogesh Bahadur Khurania have been promoted to the rank of DGP in the Level-16 pay matrix.
Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, who is on central deputation, is allowed to the grade of DG of Police in Level-16 of the pay matrix, added the notification. Sudhanshu Sarangi and Arun Sarangi are posted in the parent cadre at present.
All three senior police officers are from the 1990 batch of the IPS. YB Khurania is currently on central deputation while Sudhanshu Sarangi and Arun Sarangi are posted in the parent cadre.
