Sundargarh Police Bust Fake Job Racket, 4 Held

Sundargarh: The Sundargarh Police has arrested four persons for allegedly duping gullible youth in the name of providing jobs in the Medical College. on Saturday.

The four arrested persons have been identified as Sushant Majhi, Chaitanya Tanti, Madan Gardia and Ashish Naik, while Hemant Naik alias Gulab Phera is reported to be absconding.

They were issuing fake appointment letters and collecting heavy amounts of money from candidates in the name of providing jobs. One of the co-accused in the case is on the run and the police is trying to arrest him.

The police have also seized the computer and printer that were used to print the fake employment letters. The police action comes in the wake of a complaint lodged by a group of victims from Khasami, who alleged that they were not given any job even after paying large sums to the fraudsters.
