Security Measures In Place For Second Edition Of .FEST In Bhubaneswar
Bhubaneswar: 15 platoons of police will be deployed for the second edition of .FEST in Bhubaneswar, which runs from January 15th to 29th, on the sidelines of the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023. Out of it, five platoons will be responsible for traffic duty.”
Two Additional DCPs, 6 ACPs, 19 Inspectors, and 52 Sub-Inspectors and Assistant Sub-Inspectors will also be deployed for the festival, informed DCP Prateek Singh on Saturday.
The festival will take place at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, with seating for 7,600 people, and standing arrangements. Four designated parking areas will be available, and there will be six entry/exit gates, all under CCTV surveillance.
The festival will feature top musicians, singers, comedians, and dancers, as well as visits to ancient temples and caves, street food from at least 16 countries, and storytelling by acclaimed storytellers. Popular Bollywood stars such as Disha Patani, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Guru Randhawa, Neeti Mohan, Sunil Grover, and Sukhwinder Singh are among the scheduled performers.
