Russian Engineer Who Died On Cargo Ship In Paradip, Know What Postmortem Report Has To Say
The final postmortem report of 50-year-old Russian engineer Sergy Milyakov, who was found dead on a ship anchored off Odisha’s Paradip port on January 3, revealed that he had died of cardiac arrest.
As per the findings of the post-mortem report, Sergy, who was the chief engineer of the ship, fell down after suffering cardiac arrest and sustained injuries. Initial report revealed that he had injury mark on his left forehead
The body was first take to the Paradip Port hospital, and then sent to Kujanga Government hospital for post-mortem examination, police said.
As per reports, MV AL Danah with 23 crew members arrived at Paradip from Chittagong port in Bangladesh for iron ore. It was supposed to go to Mumbai.
MV Al Danah’s crew found Milyakov lying in a cabin at 4 am. The vessel with 23 crew members left Chittagong last month and was to transport cargo to Maharashtra. His death was reported almost fortnight after two Russian nationals, including a multi-millionaire, died within two days at a hotel in Odisha’s Rayagada district.
An investigation by the Crime Branch of Odisha police is underway into the case.
