Rourkela, May 16: In a remarkable achievement, the Rourkela police has arrested two activists of the banned People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI) and seized ammos from them.
The two arrested have been identified as area commander Nelson Gudia and his associate.
According to information, a team of Rourkela Police, after being tipped off from a reliable source,
conducted a raid at Bharulata area on the Jharkhand border under the Bisra police station limits and made the arrests and seizure. The police seized two pistols and live bullets from their possession.
Police sources said Nelson Gudia was involved in various illegal acts of violence and extortion collection and murder attempts.
After interrogation, they will be forwarded to court.
