Orissa High court gets two new judges

Cuttack, Sep 5: Advocate Sibo Sankar Mishra and Judicial Officer Ananda Chandra Behera were sworn in as judges of the Orissa High Court.

Orissa High Court Chief Justice Subhasis Talapatra administered the oath of office to the two judges at a function here.

On August 17, the Collegium of the Supreme Court recommended the names of advocate Sibo Shankar Mishra and judicial officer Ananda Chandra Behera for appointment as judges of the Orissa High Court.


With this, the number of judges in the Orissa High Court went up to 22 against the sanctioned strength of 33.
