Odisha train accident: 101 bodies yet to be identified

Bhubaneswar: About 101 bodies are still to be identified following the horrific triple train tragedy in Odisha’s Balasore, that resulted in the loss of over 275 lives and left over 1,100 injured.

Divisional Railway Manager of the Eastern Central Railways Rinkesh Roy, in an interview, said that around 200 people are still being treated in various hospitals in Odisha.

On the other hand, the Divisional Railway Manager of the Eastern Central Railways Rinkesh Roy revealed that there must be a hidden conspiracy behind the accident.

In one of the worst rail accidents in the country, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, headed towards Chennai, rammed into a halted goods train on the adjacent track, causing the rear carriages of the Coromandel Express to veer off onto the third track on the evening of June 2.

The railways have also demanded a CBI probe into the matter and said that strict action will be taken against whoever is involved in causing this mishap.
