Bhubaneswar, Aug 25: The Forest beat house at Golabandha under Sadar Police station in Odisaha’s Nuapada district was blasted on late Thursday night by a group of Maoists.
Nuapada District Superintendent of Police G Raghavendra said as per the information received so far around 10 to 12 Maoists arrived in the village late Thursday night and blasted the beat house.The doors and some portions of the beat house were damaged in the incident.
The Maoists have also set fire to a JCB Machine parked near the beat house . The machine was partially burnt . The Red rebels also put up anti government hand written posters at the spot.
Sources said the Maoists belonged to the Nuapada-Manipur division of the banned organisation.
