Khordha: A man who had recently made a bizarre claim of being the ‘President of Ghosts’ Association’ was yesterday arrested in Khordha in connection with a murder case of 2013.
The arrested man hails from Nandapur village was recently viral on social media because of his claims that he had talked with the ghost of former state minister Naba Das, who was shot dead by a police SI.
During his interview with an Odia news channel, this man claimed that he was heading as many as 400002 ghosts. The video of his statement had gone viral on various social media platforms.
On the other hand, three warrants were issued against Routray over the offences committed by him. Eventually, the Khordha Sadar police apprehended him while he had come to the village.
He was produced before a local court and later sent to jail here.
