Bargarh: In a gruesome incident, the bodies of a man and his two wives were found in a house at a village in Bheden area of Odisha’s Bargarh district on Tuesday. Prima facie it appears that the trio has been murdered as all the bodies carried head injuries.
The deceased persons were identified as Tankadhar Sahoo of Akhiphuta village and his two wives — Madhavi Sahoo and Droupadi Sahoo.
The matter came to light only after neighbours informed police suspecting something fishy as Tankadhar’s family did not open the gates today.
While the three were suspected to have been murdered by some assailants, police said probe is underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the incident.
Though the exact reason behind the death of the trio is unclear, a detailed investigation can establish whether it is a murder or something else.
