Bhubaneswar,Oct 30: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Odisha Governor designate Raghubar Das on Monday offered prayer to the presiding deities of Sri Jagannath Temple in Puri.
Das, who will be sworn in as Governor of Odisha on Tuesday ,arrived in Puri this morning by train and went to Sri Jagannath temple to offer prayer to the trinity .
He was accompanied by the Puri District Collector and the Superintendent of Police to the temple.
Official sources said Das will spend the night at Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar and is scheduled to visit the Lingaraj temple in Old town on Tuesday morning before taking oath as the new Governor of Odisha.
