Naveen sanctions Rs.20 crore for Aahar prog in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 22: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday sanctioned Rs 20 crore from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to the state level Aahar Committee.

Official sources here said Rs 228.76 crore has been sanctioned from 2015-16 to 2021-22 from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for implementation of Aahar programme in the state.

Aahar centres are operating in various hospitals, bus stands and in other crowded places in urban areas for the poor people to provide good healthy and balanced food at only Rs 5.
