Morning Classes Starts In Schools Across Odisha From Today
In order to give a respite to students from heatwave during the summer, all the government and private schools across Odisha have been directed to start morning classes from today.
The decision has been taken by the government ahead of the summer heat. The classes are being held from 7 AM to 11.30 AM.
The school authorities have been directed to ensure potable water and other necessary facilities for the students as a precaution for heat wave.
Meanwhile, the Education Department announced on Monday that summer vacations for both elementary and secondary schools will commence on May 5 and schools will reopen on June 19.

The admission for the new academic session will be held between from April 3 and 8 in all schools.
