Bhubaneswar: A devastating fire broke out in the medicine storeroom of Kishorenagar Hospital in Angul district on Friday morning, causing damage to medicines worth lakhs of rupees.
Smoke was seen coming from the drug store room and the hospital staff present tried to empty the store room, but were unsuccessful due to the presence of other flammable substances.
The Fire department was called and was able to extinguish the fire, but the damage had already been done and the medicines were destroyed.
