A man allegedly killed his wife over a suspected family feud at Krandibali village in Kandhamal district.
The accused was identified as Narayan Bidhani.
According to reports, Narayan along with his wife Laxmi had gone to the accused’s brother’s house to attend a function. Both the couple picked up a quarrel over some issue during the event.
Following the argument, Nayaran got aggrieved and axed his wife to death.
On being informed, police reached the spot and arrested the accused on the charges of murder. The cops have also initiated a probe into the matter.
