Major Fire Breaks Out At Garment Godown In Kendrapara, Rs 50L Worth Valuables Gutted
Aul: Valuables worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes after a massive fire broke out in a city-based garment showroom at Nua bazaar area of Kendrapada district.
According to reliable reports, a fire broke out and burnt clothes worth almost half a crore of rupees. A fire occurred in the ‘New Trend’ cloth store in Nua bazaar area of Kendrapada district.
The fire was reported in the early morning hours on Wednesday. Seeing the clothes store burn and the smoke bellowing out of the window the local people immediately informed the fire department of Aul.
The fire was so fierce that the cloth items inside the shop were reduced to ashes. The loss is estimated to be around Rs. 50 lakh. Along with this, as many as 30 LED TVs from a nearby electrical shop which were stored in the dress shop were also burnt to ashes completely.
However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
