Bhubaneswar: Unidentified miscreants allegedly hacked a man to death in Unit-I area of the state capital, Bhubaneswar.
The deceased was identified as Sushant Nayak (35), an employee of the Horticulture Department.
According to reports, Sushant was chased by four miscreants on the streets and later hacked to death with sharp weapons. Police suspect that the murder was a fallout of past enmity.
Sushant’s body was found with several injury marks lying in a pool of blood early this morning.
The miscreants fled the spot after committing the crime.
On being informed about the murder, the Capital Police reached the spot and started an investigation.
