Puri: A devotee reportedly died inside Sri Jagannath temple after falling unconsciouso on here today. The deceased has been identified as Pakhi Dibakar from Andhra Pradesh.
According to reports, Dibakar who along with his family had come to the Shree Jagannath Temple for a darshan of the holy Trinity. Later he felt uncomforted and suddenly collapsed after having darshan at the Maa Lakshmi Temple.
He was rushed to the district headquarters hospital but doctors declared him brought dead.
Keeping with the standard procedure, an autopsy will be conducted on the body. While initially the deceased’s family members were unwilling for a post-mortem, have later agreed for the same after counselling by the police.
