DA hike: Ahead of Raja festival; Odisha’s major announcement for employees, pensioners

Bhubaneswar: Ahead of the festive season, the Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha government on Tuesday announced a four per cent hike in dearness allowance – or DA – for the state government employees and pensioners.

An estimated 7.5 lakh state government employees and pensioners will be benefitted from the government’s latest announcement. Both the hikes will be effective from January 1, 2023.
