Dhenkanal: In an unfortunate incident, aa crude bomb that was planted for poaching wild boar exploded inside the mouth cavity of a cow at Katumunda forest area under Mahavir Road Forest Range in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Sunday.
The animal sustained critical injuries in the explosion and was undergoing treatment. According to reports, cattle belonging to Salli Behera of Katumunda had gone inside the forest to graze and a cow gulped a crude bomb planted to trap wild boars which one of the cows swallowed.
After getting information Prabhanjan Behera, the Forest Guard of Ghagaramunda Forest Beat reached the spot and informed the vet about the incident.
