Barabati Stadium To Host ‘Celebrations’ Ceremony For Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023

Bhubaneswar: The FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 will officially begin with an opening ceremony at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha on Wednesday. The ceremony, named ‘Celebrations’, will showcase India’s culture and recent advancements.

It will feature performances by global and local celebrities including Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Disha Patani, and K-Pop band BLACK SWAN, which includes Odisha’s Shreya Lenka.

The ceremony is expected to be held in a stadium with a capacity of 40,000 people.
