Balasore Train Accident: ECoR Cancels Two More Passenger Trains Today

Bhubaneswar: Three days after the triple train accident in Balasore, Odisha, The East Coast Railway (ECoR) cancelled two more passenger trains on Tuesday due to the non-availability of rakes following the three-train accident near Bahanaga Bazar railway station on June 2.

The trains that have been cancelled for Monday are:

  • 18449 Puri-Patna Baidyanathdham Express
  • 18022 Khurdha- Kharagpur Express

Earlier, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the railway tracks at the accident site have been restored and train services will normalise on the root soon.
