Ayushmann Khurrana Tweets Photo Of Odisha’s Showstopper Dessert Again, Twitterati Goes Crazy
Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who was recently in Odisha to perform at Jajpur Mahotsav, took to Twitter to share a popular sweet delicacy from Odisha that he tasted during his visit to the state. Khurrana shared a picture of Chena Poda, a delicious dessert that is made from milk and baked to perfection.
The post shared on Twitter included a yummy picture of the dish. “The dark side of chena poda successfully dilutes the dark side of mine,” the Vicky Donor actor wrote in the caption.

The Vicky Donor actor was reportedly blown away by its sublime taste.
Following his tweet, which has garnered over 464k views and tons of reactions, people expressed their wish to try the cheese dessert while those from Odisha declared their love for the sweet dish known for its typical lingering taste.
Khurrana had visited Odisha to perform at the Jajpur Mahotsav and tried the dessert. And, of course, he was blown away by its sublime taste. The official Twitter profile of Odisha tourism thanked Khurrana for gracing the Mahotsav with his presence and extended an invite to him in future as well.

Chhena Poda is easily the state’s best-known sweetmeat and the showstopper dessert among Odia sweet dishes with takers all over the world. It is also offered to Lord Jagannath at Srimandir in Puri. And there has been a demand for a GI tag for the sweet dish. Many have expressed their likeness for the sweet Odisha dish.

It is not the first time that Ayushmann has expressed his love for the Odia dessert. Earlier in 2018, when he came to Bhubaneswar for a performance, he had savoured the Chena Poda and posted a photo of it on Instagram.
