Vegetables loaded truck falls into gorge, driver killed on the spot

Jammu, Feb 16: A driver died on the spot when a vegetable laden truck rolled down into a deep gorge in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police on Thursday said that one truck loaded with fresh vegetables rolled down in a deep gorge near Panthyal during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.

The driver identified as Shamsher Singh of Tarantaran, Punjab died in the accident, police added.

They said that the body has been recovered.
