Dhenkanal: An ailing female elephant died during treatment at Hindol Forest Range in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Thursday.
According to reports, the pachyderm was sick for the last three days and undergoing treatment under the supervision of the Forest Department officials.
Local villagers first spotted the elephant in this condition inside the forest and informed the Forest department.
The exact ailment of the elephant is yet to be ascertained.
