Mahatma Gandhi ‘s grandson Arun Gandhi passes away

Kolhapur, May 2: Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson Arun Gandhi passed away at Maharashtra’s Kolhapur on Tuesday, family sources said.

He was 89.

After received information his son Tushar Gandhi rushed to Kolhapur. Last rights of late Mr Gandhi would be held here at Pancha ganga crematoriumm.

Born on 14, April 1934 in Durban, a socio-political worked, he was active in social work following the footstep of his grandfather Mahatma Gandhi.

He was stated in Kolhapur city from last two months. He wrote a book ‘The Gift of Anger: and other lessons from My Grandfather Mahatma Gandhi, was very popular.

Late Arun Gandhi was a son of Manilal Gandhi second son of Mahatma Gandhi , who was a editor of Akhbar Indian Opinion’.
