Is The Karnataka Assembly Poll Results Going The Congress Way

Several surveys although indicate a tough fight between the two main contenders, the Congress and the BJP, the balance in several pockets do lend an edge to the Congress according number of surveys (exit polls) done by several pollsters including Axis My India (India Today), C-Voter (ABP News), Today’s Chanakya (News24), Polstrat (NewsX), and P-MARQ (Republic TV) have predicted whether the Basavaraj Bommai-led government will retain the state of the Siddaramaiah-DK Shivakumar duo will sweep the state for the Congress.

If the exit polls are any indication to go by then, BJP has to defend its position with its back to the wall.

For a working majority any party which wins 113 seats may claim the stake which shall be clear by May 13.

Karnataka’s total number of voters is 5,21,73,579, out of which 2.62 crores are males and 2.59 crores are females.
