Daltonganj: The PLGA week of the proscribed CPI Maoists has commenced which will continue till December 8.
On the first day of the week long celebrations by the Maoists they indulged in poster pasting in Chak area under Manatu Police Station area of Palamu district on Thursday.
Through the posters and banners the Maoists have saluted their late comrades and have also urged the people to join the PLGA.
Officer in-charge for Manatu Police Station Pawan Kumar Yadav said that nearly 15 posters have been recovered from the spot.
He said in the wee hours of the day a youth came out of the near by forests and threw some posters and pasted few others and went back. His identity is being ascertained.
Once a safe heaven for the Maoists few years ago a Police picket has been established in Chak while some distance there is also camp of the CRPF but despite that the ultras managed to paste the posters.
