A sex racket operating near Caltex Chhak under Town Police limits in Odisha’s Dhenkanal town was busted on Saturday night.
Shivaji Mohanty, the kingpin of the racket and owner of the house, was arrested in this connection. As many as two women of Balasore, who were engaged in the flesh trade, have been rescued by police.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a raid and arrested the man who was operating the racket. A car was also seized from the possession of the arrested person.
The accused reportedly has criminal antecedents and he and his wife were arrested two years back for the same offence, sources added.
