Tragic Incident: Lady devotee run over by a moving train at Puri station

Puri, Jan 9: In a tragic incident a lady devotee of Thakur Anukulchandra slipped into the track while boarding a train at Puri railway station and died.

Police on Monday said the lady devotee, identified as Kuni Nayak along with her family members of Kantapara village under Delang police station limits had attended the ongoing Satsang function.

They were returning by Puri Durg train on Sunday evening when the mishap took place. The lady could not hold the door of the train due to the heavy rush and fell.

The moving train ran over the devotee killing her on the spot. The GRP registered a case and investigated the incident.
