Indian grapplers sitting at Jantar Mantar in protest against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, now after being abused and physically manhandled have decided to return their prestigious medals.

That is the bigger take from how a system can sleep over such a sensitive issue which has led the wrestlers to return the medals.

Police Are Trying to Safeguard Brij Bhushan: Bajrang Punia and the protesting wrestlers are hell bent to disbelieve that the government will ever initiate any action against Brij Bhushan and that is it.

One that the Delhi police has not yet initiated any action against Brij Bhushan despite the FIR lodged on 28 April and now the Wednesday midnight brawl exposes its dark under belly and those are all signs to reveal that, perhaps, nothing such can be allowed to happen without blessings from the top somewhere.

Shocking that after a heavy rainfall in Delhi on Wednesday, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) politician Somnath Bharti arrived at Jantar Mantar at night with folding beds for the wrestlers. Delhi Police though stopped Bharti, citing a lack of permission.

Then it all led to the scuffle where some protesting grapplers got involved in which  Dushyant Phogat was injured, who has been taken to the hospital.

As alleged by Vinesh Phogat drunk police officers abused her during the scuffle.

AAP leader Bharti coming with folding beds required permission but there is no check on police officers to be on duty in a drunken state.

“Delhi Police’s plan is to scupper the protests and get Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh out of this with no scratches, but through the media, I am confirming again that we will not back down from our stance, come what may,” Punia was quoted by the media.
