What led Sharad Pawar to feel a thorn in his chair? The faltering Ajit Pawar holding BJP hands!

Moblilenews24x7 Bureau(Exclusive)

Now that the NCP president Sharad Pawar has resigned from the president ship of the party, many eyebrows have been raised as what could be the reason.

Is that the strong man of Maharashtra politics tired of age and wants new blood to take over or was the acts of his mentee and nephew Ajit Pawar’s holding brief for the BJP very recently has led the uncle to stay away?

Fairly recently in the columns of Mobilenews24x7 few inner things were spaced as why the junior Pawar jumped the line.

Then we reported that “A few days after the NCP (Nationalist Congress Party) supremo convened a meeting of leading opposition parties to discuss concerns over the credibility of electronic voting machines (EVMs), Ajit Pawar in contrary showed his faith in the EVM and went to the extent of calling politicians raising questions on EVMs as sore losers who could not digest electoral losses”.

Then Ajit Pawar stood by the side of PM Modi, when the opposition parties in the state and across the country including senior figures like Uddhav Thackeray were cornering the BJP over the authenticity of PM, Modi’s educational degree, Ajit Pawar instead stood firm saying that “it was Modi’s persona that garnered votes so the lamenting leaders are not able to digest that”.

Then came a political surprise when Ajit and his spouse’s name were not included in the charge of the ED sheet  in the MSC bank scam case further fuelled the rumors of him striking a deal with the BJP.

Then Ajit Pawar’s meeting Amit Shah further fuelled the doubts about Ajit’s new found love for the BJP although junior Pawar  still maintains that, those are baseless notions being spread.

Now after stepping down Sharad Pawar also recommended the formation of a committee to decide on the election of the vacancy in the President’s post. Who would that be?

Pawar’s resignation comes weeks after rumours of his nephew Ajit Pawar joining hands with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) were doing the rounds in the political circles of the state.

His (Ajit) reported photo ups with Deputy CM of Maharashtra, Devendra Fednaves also made some rumours sound credible.

A series of events and statements that had Ajit Pawar at the center of action created ripples in the state’s political waters. The leader of the opposition in the Vidhan Sabha hogged the limelight for contradicting his party’s and the MVA’s (Maha Vikas Aghadi) stance and siding with the the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on a variety of issues cannot  be seen as personal bonhomie.

Political safety in politics, mainly after the EDs, CBIs and NIAs have gained new teeth not alone Ajit Pawar but many from other parties have discovered a safe haven in the BJP.
