Bhubaneswar, Dec 30 : BJP in Odisha will contest the coming 2024 election alone and will not have any alliance or compromise with any other political party, Regional Party -in-Charge Sunil Bansal said here on Saturday.
Addressing the party office bearers here Bansal said there would be no alliance with any party in the coming 2024 elections in Odisha.
He said BJP will field candidates in all the 147 Assembly seats and 21 Parliament seats in Odisha and targeted to get 50 percent of the vote share.
Leader of Opposition Jaynarayan Mishra and Bhubaneswar MP Aparjita Sarangi said some people with vested interest are spreading rumours about a possible alliance between BJD and BJP but BJP will fight the election alone and will have no alliance with any party, they said.
Mishra said the 2024 election would witness a direct fight between BJP and BJD as the Congress is not seen anywhere in the race.
