Although there has been no mention from the Enforcement Directorate regarding the name of AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha but news agencies’ reportage said that his name is in the supplementary ED Charge sheet.

Whereas, Chadha has reportedly said that was a factually wrong that his name being mentioned as an accused or suspect in the Excise scam in Delhi.

Although a statement by the ED said that  “at Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s residence, there was a meeting of Raghav Chadha, ACS Finance of Punjab Govt, Excise Commissioner, Varun Roojam, FCT and officers from Punjab Excise where Vijay Nair was also present,” news agencies reported.

“I have not been named as an accused or even a suspect in any of the complaints filed by the enforcement directorate. There are no allegations whatsoever against me in the said complaints. It appears that in the complaint my name is mentioned as an attendee to some meeting though the basis of making such and allegation is not clear. I vehemently and unequivocally deny commission of any alleged offence in any manner, in relation to the said meeting or otherwise,” Chadha added.

While calling the entire reportage entirely malicious to damage his reputation, Chadha for once even never spoke anything in defense of the jailed AAP leader Manish Sisodia, nor as an AAP leader, took any jibe at the Centre.

What could be the mystery in between the both. Chadha sounds loudly self-defensive unlike any other leader of Aam Admi Party.

Is there something that makes Chadha to insulate himself from the entire mess or he is simply playing political footsie for saving his own skin.
