Nitish frees the floor: ‘Other persons would be made Convenor of I.N.D.I.A’ alliance : Nitish

Patna, Aug 28 : In a bid to settle down the speculations of becoming the Convenor of I.N.D.I.A. alliance, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that other persons would get the responsibilities of the convenor.

While talking to media persons after paying tribute to the former Union Minister Upendra Nath Verma in the state capital here, Kumar reiterated that he does not wish anything personally in I.N.D.I.A alliance.

Replying to the query of being made the convenor in I.N.D.I.A. alliance, the Chief Minister said that he only wants to unite everyone in the interest of all.

Retorting sharply at the statement of BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary who had said that India got real freedom after the JP movement in 1977, Nitish said he does not pay attention to the statements of BJP.

He said everyone knows when the country got freedom. Dubbing Choudhary and BJP as “illegal”, the Chief Minister said that the statements of those who do not know about the freedom has no value.
