Naveen approves master plan for development of Sikhar chandi temple

Bhubaneswar, Jan 4 : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday approved a Master plan to develop Sikhar Chandi temple and its periphery spread over 53.64 acres at a cost of Rs 25 crore.

It will be a centre of attraction in the capital city Bhubaneswar.

A few days back 5T Secretary V K Pandian had directed the officials to prepare a master plan for the development of the temple.

BDA Chairman Balwant Singh had made a presentation about the master plan at a meeting here on Tuesday evening.

As per the Master plan, the entire area will be divided into four zones. While Parking, sports and other facilities will be developed in zone one, in zone two view point and trekking route will find a place.

In zone three and four arrangements would be made for the development of infrastructure for entertainment, community centre, development of the main temple, shops and other facilities.
