National doctors’ day: They are one among us and not 24×7 robots

Some at the higher echelons of this noble profession believe that, the best part of the practice is that a patient under their treatment walks back fit to home.

 Which renders a sigh of relief for the doctors as well.

 And some also believe that a doctor is usually viewed as one who contributes life and health and for a physician there cannot be a greater joy than this and it doubles when a doctor deals with a critical patient and getting cured.    

The respect and veneration that patients and their families have towards doctors is a plus point too.

There  are some doctors who also believe that for sometime sharing and even becoming a part of a patient’s sufferings and emotions rather usher in a sense of gratitude for the doctor.

That is a great feeling for a doctor who genuinely believes the practice above a job.

In nutshell the symbiosis between a doctor and a patient often transcends description.

On the flip side  

Reports pour in of instances of high handed deals being meted out to the doctors that requires a thinking.

 AngerAg ainst Doctors 

Shockingly, the wrath of a patient or the relatives cross the divding line and leads to indecorous disposition towards a doctor falling victim to mob mentality.

People often think that the doctors are above being human beings and must be in attendance to the practice and have no personal life at all.

 

A doctor is always working 24×7, available for patients at all hours, with very little private time, say some doctors which is also essential for a doctor as a human being.

The rigors of hard work as a student of medical science and the time and cost involved, any such professional when come to the practice, often there are sea changes in place and surroundings that allows a small transit for him or her to acclimatize with the new envion.

Leaving aside the views of ignorance in dealing with the recent pandemic and the commercial connotations the disease was given at the end of the day, one cannot resist clapping once for their hard works which turned heads.
