Bhubaneswar, Nov 14 : The election to the post of Deputy Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly will be held at 9.30 AM on November 21, a notification issued by the state Assembly Secretary said on Tuesday.
The post of Deputy Speaker has been lying vacant since November 8 following the resignation of Rajani Kanta Singh.
Singh, the four time BJD MLA from Anugul was elected as the Deputy Speaker of Odisha Legislative Assembly in June 2019.
He won from the Anugul Assembly constituency in 2004, 2009, 2014 and 2019.
