With the disappearance of one thousand rupee currency notes in 2016, it is difficult to recall that there were denominations for Rs 5000. Semi-greyish and an absorbed blend of the past recalling that time.
Such notes were used between 1949 to 1978 with same Ashoka stambh embossed.
