From the day of the formation of the party his walk on the tracks has never been a faltered one neither he has let the people to doubt his credibility as a capable steward to navigate the ship through many turbulence in between.
As a politician he is among the less speaking leader but he tried his silence get translated into action into physical delivery at the grass-root.
Patnaik in all his strides made it point to celebrate his success without much noise and uncelibrated multiple possibilities where he discovered slightest stumbles even if not so profound ones.
27th foundation day
BJD has created an identity of itself as the best regional political party in India for its relentless service to the people of Odisha, party supremo Naveen Patnaik said on Tuesday.
Speaking on the 27th foundation day of the party, Patnaik said BJD has become a social movement for its service and social commitment.
He assured that the BJD in future will also dedicate itself for the service of the people and will work with all sincerity for the people of the state.
BJD was established on December 26, 1996, on the ideology of legendary leader and former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik.
As per the pre-decided schedule , the foundation day of the BJD was observed in all the 147 Assembly constituencies of the state. The party supporters organised various programmes to celebrate the foundation day .
They also pledged to dedicate themselves to serve the people, work for the development of the state and to form an empowered, and prosperous Odisha.
A function was also organised at Sankha Bhawan, the BJD state Party headquarter in the morning to celebrate the foundation day.
In the morning a cycle rally led by Party Organisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das started from Ananda Bhawan in Cuttack and reached Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar.
Minister Ashok Chandra Panda, BMC Mayor Sulochana Das, state Yuva BJD Advisor P Blawantaray and several MLAs participated in the rally and garlanded the statue of Biju Babu.
