The bagul has been blown for the next war of nerves. That sets the pace for the Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik to take his run up to the 2024 elections.
As usual Patnaik shows no haste in his political warm ups as if the preparations for it has been long back accomplished.
Aims at a sixer
His run up leaves foot prints of no trace of over excitement as the quiet BJD supremo and politician makes his confidence built at unforgiving heights of popularity least bothering what his rivals say about his.
His actions manifest no political lowering of pre-poll political language nor he takes resort in uncivil tantrums. He uses, perhaps the only politician in the country who never uses diatribes to injurious words.
His replies are the opening of pro-people schemes where he oversees them to a stage of implementation and logical conclusions. Outreach in one or the other way are his traits just unmindful of unhealthy remarks at his rule.
Style far removed from ordinary
In 2019 his campaign against the BJP and the Congress was way apart from the usual and routine stuff. Naveen was seen although in a bus, alone and alone quietly waving at the people and occasionally emerging from the roof top opening and just making a sober appeal through a hand mike in comparison to the high voltage campaigns by the BJP and others.
His speeches are usually about his performance and his takes at the opponents are never in the ambit of propaganda to overplay.
From 2000 to this date his aura has prevailed and his persona and suave and infectious smile wins friends and foes.
In last over 22 years his political narratives are always free from any usual baloney and the sartorial leader’s quietness speaks a lot.
Among his rivals the BJP will try its best to breathe down BJD’s neck although his singular aura still appears taller. And the Congress floundering in an internal jeopardy still looks from being frightening for Patnaik.
The secret behind his enjoying an unassailable reign streams from his purposefulness.
