Film actor turned Khusboo Sundar in an interview to the media has revealed that, when she was 8 year old girl she was subjected to repeat sexual abuse by her father.
She further said that, her father was a hot headed rustic and even took nasty fights with her mother and kept everyone under a kind of fear psychosis forcing them all to silence.
Now a member of the National Commission For women and seemingly reached her middle age, it is hard to guess what made the lady to come out with such an avoidable and flabbergasting recollection of a time dating back to decades.
Was it a bid at post-trial incarceration which she aimed to project. Or was it a about a stigma that the lady actor tries now to sound all pervasive and fathers being the usual, as if, predators feasting on the female members of the family.
Why do one read so much moral in the piece in the confession which now sounds as an act of moral aberration which father of Khushboo had suffered need not be generalized by a leader or actor of fame.
She went on to add, and what it signifies is that some individual’s maniacal insanity cannot be used being position by a NCW member in a very personal issue.
Why then was she silent all those decades and why this sudden surge of moral equivalence drawn from the comparison just because she wants to stand unique as a woman who even stand against all such inglorious deeds making herself the main victim.
Or can be she tried to sneak suspicion that danger is there in the horizon for all girls in any family.
She could have taken the recourse of law then than losing the father and a moral cleansing after so many years. It is abstract and should be rubbished by all accounts. What kind of ..me too..absurdity is that.
