Sharad roars: Activists & office bearers of NCP decide to stay with Sr Pawar

Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar, July 9 : NCP party workers, office bearers, and former people’s representatives across from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district have decided to stay with NCP Chief Sharad Pawar.

In this regard, a meeting was held at NCP Bhavan here on Saturday evening to decide the future after political turmoil.

In the meeting, which was attended by former MPS and MLAs, among others, former people’s representatives from local bodies and activists unanimously decided to stay with NCP chief Senior Pawar.

Since Ajit Pawar revolted within the party and joined Shinde Fadnavis’ state government, confusion has arisen among party leaders and workers about whom to support. In it, local self-government elections are announced. The elections are scheduled for September and October.

Therefore, an important meeting of the city district NCP Congress was held in the party building at N-11 to clear the confusion of workers and office bearers, said City district chief Sharfuddin Khawaja in his press statement last night.

He said that, during the meeting, everyone strongly condemned Ajit Pawar’s rebellion and unanimously decided to stand with party chief Sharad Pawar till the end.

Baburao Kadam, former MP Jaysingrao Gaikwad, former MLA Sanjay Waghchoure, Kishore Patil, Vijay Anna Borade, Dwarkabhau Parthikar, Sudhakar Sonwane, Manjusha Pawar, Adv. Laxman Pradhan Patil, and a large number of officials and activists were present on this occasion.
