Tata Motors is finally launched Nexon, Harrier, and Safari Red Dark Edition in India . The launch of the new editions of the SUVs comes at a time when the automaker is setting up the stage for the updated versions of the Harrier and Safari.
The company has introduced these models with an all-new Oberon Black paint job along with piano black grilles with Zircon red accents on the outside. Tata has also updated the interiors of the SUVs with new all-red upholstery and has also given a ton of new features including ADAS.
Pricing for the Nexon Red Dark Edition start from Rs 12.35 lakh, while the Harrier Red Dark is priced from Rs 21.77 lakh On the other hand, the Safari Red Dark Edition has a base price of Rs 22.61 lakh for 6-seater and Rs 22.71 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the 7-seater version respectively.
Similar changes can be seen in the interior and feature list of Nexon, Harrier, and Safari Red Dark Edition. Talking about the interiors, the seats will be upholstered carnelian red with a quilted pattern. Other highlights include red grab handles, grey trims on the dashboard, and other highlights in the cabin. It is also expected to get red ambient lighting matching the theme of the SUV.
The upgrades in the car’s equipment list can be seen in the form of a better infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and ventilated front seats, among other things. Furthermore, the car will have upgraded safety with features like six airbags and Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
The biggest highlight on the Harrier and Safari Red Dark Editions are the addition of ADAS safety tech. This includes Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), forward collision alert, lane departure warning, lane change assist and traffic sign recognition. Both SUVs are based on their top-spec variants and get the new 10.25-inch touchscreen nfotainment, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, and a 360-degree camera. Both the SUVs also get memory function for the driver’s seat.
