Bhubaneswar, Sep 5 : Decomposed carcasses of two wild elephants were found in Satkosia Wildlife sanctuary on Tuesday.
Sources said the carcasses were found in the sanctuary near Jagannathpur village.Some villagers spotted the carcasses and informed the forest officials.
Senior Forest officials visited the spot and inquired into the death of the elephants.
Though the exact cause of the death of the elephants is not yet known, forest officials suspected that the elephants might have been electrocuted.
