None of the incidents are being described here are as accidents but man-made incidents caused by some perverse vagabonds in Delhi and some few other areas.
Which shows how knock-kneed has become our system and particularly the wings of the law that has not been able to create either any shred of fear or awareness. The perpetrators predate on innocent women, whether dragging them to death or causing grievous injuries.
A few such happenings in last few weeks had flabbergasted the civilised lot of the country and on Thursday, it touched a new high when some drunkard wanted to waylay the Delhi Commission for Women chief, Swati Maliwal by his regressive lust.
When Swati wanted to reprimand him, she was dragged for 10 to 15 minutes with her hand locked in the windscreen.
In fact, she was baited twice by the man in an inebriated state with some ill-intention.
It is not the only case but, in last two months the police’s image has taken a severe beating by dragging incidents(crimes) with the brutal intents unthinkable in a civilised society.

The history of all the cases are something in common. That is intentional actions prompted by criminals’ mind-sets. Such perpetrators can never be counselled but some exemplary punishment under the law can create the required fear which is essential.
And such punishments should be through some fast-tracking judicial arm which do not allow the case remain in the queue and allow the accused to lounge in the jail premises.
