Srinagar, Mar 30: Body of 9- year- old girl with her throat slit was found in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
The body of a minor girl was found on Wednesday evening near her house at Zab Khurhama in Lalpora.
According to the family the girl left home at around 6.40 pm.
” When she didn’t return till late, the villagers started searching for her. Late Wednesday the minor girl’s throat slit body was found in a shed,” officials said.
Police said the body was sent for medico-legal formalities and investigations have been taken up.
