Temperature Likely To Be 38 Degrees

New Delhi, April 2: There will be little respite from the scorching heat for the people of Delhi-NCR on Saturday as the temperature is likely to settle around 38 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department said. It forecast a clear sky both on Saturday and Sunday, with a maximum temperature of around 39 degrees Celsius.
“From April 5, the heatwave is likely to hit the Delhi region and the maximum temperature may touch 41 degrees Celsius on April 7,” it said. On Friday, due to strong gusty winds, the temperature settled at 36.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. The minimum temperature was recorded at 21.4 degrees. Earlier, the IMD predicted heatwave in Madhya Pradesh and parts of Rajasthan. UNI
